Green Doers make a difference
Thursday 22 August - Rijsbergen From Land to PandFrank and Martijn Grow, Process and deliver Biobased Building Materials. They both complement each other in the work they do. And that creates an incredibly strong incentive to do better together, and to give the bigger bosses insight into what really counts and can make the difference. The farmer does not like to complain and we have been able to observe that up close. But we can certainly say that the farmer is having a hard time. During the sowing of the Hemp Fiber on May 8, 2024, we had very high hopes for a beautiful sunny spring and summer. Unfortunately, this soon turned out to be 'in the water' and the start of this growth process was certainly not what they had expected. Nevertheless, the product that they now grow on very healthy soil is strong enough to withstand even weeks of rain. Because thanks to VDZ Projects who came every morning at 7:00 sharp to take timeline photos, we can show you how the process went and you can see that after all the rain the plant caught up and started to grow fantastically. Despite a loss of about 25% of the harvest, they have shown again this time that they can deliver a sustainable, Biobased product! And we as a builder are very happy with that. During the Event, the farmers took us into their work and their green heart for biobased materials for the local builder and processor. They showed us where it all started, and which partners joined them during their start-up. One of them is EXIE, they process a great insulation product together - CaNadry Lime Hemp Insulation. A local product that is 100% natural. They bring the agricultural, housing and raw material processing sectors together by facilitating and implementing Biobased Building Materials in housing construction on a large scale. Martijn and Frank's goal is very clear, to create a healthier and sustainable living environment for EVERYONE.

During the Event, Walther - Father of sons, Dennis and Walther Junior were able to tell how important it is to start realizing your awareness because by only telling or looking you do not change the progress in the Biobased Construction world, we need the Doers to be able to make a difference. Together because everyone counts! Without having to blame yourself, you can embrace everything new that you encounter during all the knowledge that is shared and apply it in your own little world. Because ultimately every seed that we plant is one that can grow, provided you forget to water it. And a nice comment that we heard at the Event is that watering does not have to be done daily to achieve successful growth, but give it water when necessary then it always grows at the right time. A good example of this is the process of the Hemp Fiber of May 8, 2024 that had a very bad start, too much water daily disrupted the process. Until the storm passed and the light could do its work. A fantastic harvest on August 22, 2024. And that's what we do it for, all of us! We had a super organized day during the Event on August 22, where there was a lot of interest in the green knowledge that all parties shared that day.
